General Notes: Husband - Caleb North


He was of English origin and lived in Perry County, Pennsylvania.

He was an officer of the revolution; he was with Washington at the "crossing of the Delaware"; fought throughout the war, rising to the rank of colonel in the Pennsylvania line. He was president of the Society of the Cincinnati, and in 1819 sheriff of Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania.
