General Notes: Husband - Rev. Hiram Norton


His ancestry settled in Connecticut in 1640; the branch from which he sprang removed to New York State about 1780, finally locating in Pennsylvania in 1830.

He devoted more than forty years to the ministry, and was a prominent divine among the Methodist clergy of his day.
