General Notes: Husband - Jacob F. Smith

Woods Run, Allegheny Co, PA
He and his wife came to America about 1844 and settled near Pittsburgh,PA, and from there moved to Greenville, Mercer County, on the old Jamestown road in 1853, which made them among the pioneers of that section. [HMC 1909]
He died in 1880. [HMC 1909, 1049]

He and his wife immigrated to Allegheny County, PA, in 1830, where they resided until the spring of 1844, and then settled on the farm in West Salem Township, Mercer County. They were Presbyterians. [HMC 1888, 1198]
