Possibly the same person: W. H. POTTER, was born February 15th, 1834, in Blair county, Pa., and came to Venango county in 1849. Was a member of company A, 121st P. V. I. Wounded in left side at Gettysburg, July 1st, 1863. Enlisted July 12th, 1862, and discharged June 9th, 1865, or at the close of the war. [HVC 1879, 639]
