General Notes: Husband - John Oglevee


James Oglevee emigrated from the North of Ireland and settled in East Nottingham township, Chester County, Pennsylvania (later Cecil County, Maryland), before 1722 (He was probably a son or brother of John Oglevee, who died in Cecil County, January, 1744, leaving a wife, Rachel, and children, James, Dorcas, and Jean); d. 1751-53; m. Sarah ---; d. May, 1753; had issue: John, Sarah, Jean, Margaret (m. --- Boggs), and Violet (m. --- Porter, and had two sons, James and John); his son, grandson, or nephew, was John Oglevee.
