General Notes: Husband - Peter Owens

He was of Welsh descent, and the founder of the family in Clearfield County, Pennsylvania. Some of the family left the Keystone State and resided in Kentucky and Indiana.

He was a native of Wales, and came to America in the 18th century at the age of seven years, locating on the river in what is now Clearfield County, Pennsylvania, where he spent the remainder of his days.
