Mr. and Mrs. Harry J. Stack Jr. of Buffalo, N.Y., formerly of Oil City, announce the engagement of their daughter, Linda Ann, to William Christopher Owens of Kenosha, Wisc.
He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. William D. Owens, also former Oil City residents.
The bride-to-be was graduated from Oil City High School in 1968 and from Edin­boro State College in 1972, where she earned a bachelor of science degree in elementary education. She has been em­ployed in varied teaching professions.
The prospective bridegroom attended Venango Christian High School and was graduated from Treniper High School in Kenosha, Wisc. in 1967. Following his graduation from Career Academy in Milwaukee, Wisc. he served in Vietnam. He is presently employed by American Motors Corporation in Kenosha.
The couple is planning an April 16 wedding.
