Marion Center, Indiana Co, PA - a dentist

Civil War: he served in company A., 2d battalion, 6 months' volunteers, and in company A, 206th Pennsylvania volunteers about one year.

He had dental rooms in connection with his drug store, which he established in 1873. He was a student at the Philadelphia Dental College. His dental engine, introduced in 1877, was the first in Indiana County. He acted as postmaster of Marion, Pennsylvania, beginning in May, 1876.
