George Ziegler.
Oil City relatives yesterday received news of the sudden death of George Ziegler which occurred at his home in Beaver, Pa.
Mr. Ziegler was aged 73 years and was born at Maple Shade, this county, the son of the late David and Sarah Ziegler. He followed the oil business practically all his life, principally in the Pennsylvania fields and for a time in California.
Surviving are his widow, a son and a daughter, all of Beaver and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Annette Shaffer, Tulsa, Okla.; Mrs. Priscilla Heath, Hammond, N. Y.; Mrs. W. B. Shaffer, Mrs. Fred Hoot, William Ziegler, of this city; D. E. Ziegler, of Erie, and Fisher Ziegler of Salina.
The funeral and burial will be in Beaver.

Mrs. Ella Parks Ziegler died last week at Beaver at the home of her daughter. She was about 77. Her brother, Howard Parks, and sister Mrs. Minnie Greer, are in California. She was born in Scrubgrass Township, daughter of Ephraim and Mary A. Parks, was first married to Mr. Abrams. She was a woman of pleasant personality and kindly disposition and had suffered greatly from heart trouble for some time. Another friend gone to her reward.
