General Notes: Husband - Abraham Patterson


He was born in Ireland, and came with his parents to America in 1823. They settled in Mercer County, Pennsylvania, but in 1829 came to Allegheny County, where they afterward resided.

He was a contractor and builder; he and his brother Isaac, under firm name of I. & A. Patterson, were for many years among the most prominent contractors and builders in Allegheny County. He was a member of the U. P. Church.
