General Notes: Husband - Dr. Joseph F. Wilson


After attending the common schools, he entered Jefferson College, Philadelphia, from which he graduated as a medical doctor. He located in Philadelphia, commencing in 1857, and there practiced his profession until his death. He met his death at a railroad crossing, by a passing train. He was a well known and highly eminent practicing physician and surgeon. He was a stanch and active party worker in the Republican Party and a consistent member of the Presbyterian Church; also a very efficient worker in the Sunday school. He was a member of the Masonic fraternity; also the Odd Fellows and the Red Men.
