General Notes: Husband - James Wilson

He was a miller by trade. He moved from Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, to Lawrence County, about 1797, and bought a two hundred acre tract from Mr. Holstein, who had made a settlement in Wayne township. Mr. Wilson worked at clearing this property. He came to his death by accident, as a tree fell on him when he was at work clearing his land; he was the first man buried in Slippery Rock Cemetery.
He was survived by his widow and one son.

General Notes: Wife - Eletha Patterson

She was born in Ireland, and was fifteen years of age when she came to America as part of her father's family.
