General Notes: Husband - John G. Patterson


After marriage, he went to Rouseville, Pennsylvania, and worked in the oil fields for some time. Later he returned to Jackson township, Mercer County, and in conjunction with his cousin, James Wilson, rented and ran a lime kiln for several years. He then rented a farm for a couple of years. He went to Rouseville again for a short time, but returned to Mercer County and rented a farm from Andrew Kerr. Later he went back to Venango County and rented a farm for two or more years. Returned again to Mercer County and worked at ironing sucker-rods in Sandy Lake, two or three years. He finally settled on the east corner of his father-in-law's farm in Worth township, Mercer County.
