General Notes: Husband - Nathan Patton

He was a Pennsylvanian, of Scotch parentage, and located in Lawrence County in the last decade of the eighteenth century and reared a large family. He served in the War of 1812, and both he and wife died on the old homestead, about four miles north of New Castle, PA.
