General Notes: Husband - Thomas Paxton


He was engaged in the butcher and cattle business.
He enlisted in Company D, Tenth Regiment, P. R. V. C. Reserves, in April, 1861, and was killed at Spottsylvania, being shot through the bowels while doing picket duty.
