General Notes: Husband - Zachariah Pees

When twenty-one years of age his father exchanged farms with his uncle, Andrew Pees, securing in the exchange a saw and grist mill, known far and wide as "Pees Mills," which was operated by Zachariah Pees fourteen years.
About the year 1825 he bought a farm in Ohio, which he afterward sold, and then purchased the farm in North Strabane township, Washington County, Pennsylvania, later occupied by his son William.
He was an elder in the Pigeon Creek Church.
