General Notes: Husband - Israel M. Wise


He attended school in Jackson Township, Butler County, Pennsylvania, when he was a boy, and made farming his business in life. After the death of his father he purchased the homestead farm and devoted himself to its cultivation and improvement. In addition to raising corn, oats, hay and potatoes as his main crops, he also carries on a profitable dairying business.
He and his wife were members of Grace Reformed Church, at Harmony. In politics he was a Republican.
