General Notes: Husband - George Thorn



His father was John Thorn, a was a native of Dauphin County, Pennsylvania, and one of the early settlers of Butler County. [HVC 1890, 1001]

He spent his early life on the family homestead farm, and in April, 1823, located on a farm on the line of Armstrong and Butler counties, on the head-waters of Sugar creek.
He was twice married, his first wife died leaving five children, and with his second wife he had four children.
