General Notes: Husband - Charles Wray Porter

He was born on the old Porter homestead in Crawford County, PA, known as Porter's Corners, and remained with his parents until his marriage. During most of his active years he farmed on the family homestead, in connection with quite an extensive stock business. In 1871 he became completely blind and remained thus until his death. He died a devoted member of the United Presbyterian Church.
