General Notes: Husband - William M. Vensel


He was ten years old when his parents located in Donegal township, Butler County, Pennsylvania. He grew to maturity on the home-stead farm, received a good common school education, and at the age of twenty-one he embarked in the oil business in McKean County, devoting his attention to contracting and producing, in which he was quite successful. In politics, He was a stanch Democrat. He was a member of Millerstown Lodge, Number 457, K. of P.; also of Argyle Lodge, Number 540, F. & A. M.
