General Notes: Husband - Robert Price

He was born in Path Valley, near Doylesburg, Franklin County, Pennsylvania. He could distinctly remember the rejoicings over the victory at New Orleans. He closely applied himself to his books when young, attended the best schools of the neighborhood and also those of Chambersburg. He began teaching at the age of fourteen, and for forty-eight years taught without intermission, with the exception of two terms spent at Bridgeport, one at Smoketown one at Dickey's Mill. His labors were confined to Fannett Township.

He located at the head of Amberson's Valley in 1858, and there resided, having something over 300 acres of land.

The Price family were members of the Catholic Church. In politics he was a Douglas Democrat.
