Since our last writing, another well known citizen has gone to that bourne from which no traveler ever returns. Lyman M. Prindle died Feb. 13th, aged 52 years. He leaves a wife and seven children to mourn the loss of a kind husband and affectionate father. He was the eldest son of the late Chauncey Prindle. There are three brothers and one sister living, R. A. and C. M. Prindle of Bakerstown, Pa., and Chas. Prindle of Harborcreek and Mrs. Geo. Darling of Ripley, NY The funeral services were conducted at the M. E. Church in South Harborcreek. Rev. James Bogart officiating. The remains were interred in the M. E. Church yard to finally rest from toil and labor.

Funeral services for Mrs. Elizabeth Prindle, 84, who died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Nellie Weir, Monday morning after an extended illness, will be held from the W.O. Wilson Funeral Home, Lake and Clay Streets, North East, Thursday at 2 p.m. with Rev. Ivan M. Shreve of the First Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will be in South Harborcreek Cemetery. Friends may call at the Wilson Home any time and attend the services. Mrs. Prindle is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Blanche Lawrence, Mrs. Anna Blackman, Harborcreek, and Mrs. Nellie Weir, Wesleyville; four sons, Will, Clymer, NY, and Myron, Jesse and Leon of North East; 16 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; a brother, R. P. Smith, Ripley, NY
