Frenchcreek Twp, Venango Co, PA - a farmer

Unk newspaper:David Runninger, one of the substantial and respected residents of Frenchcreek Township died last night, May 19, at his home near the Nicklin Church. On Saturday might he had a paralytic stroke, which was followed by another on Sunday, and a third on Monday night. The deceased was one of five sons of Jacob Runninger, whose father, a native of Holland, settled in Frenchcreek Township in 1801. The funeral will be held at the Nicklin Church at 2:30 tomorrow afternoon.

Unk newspaper: Anna Runninger, widow of David Runninger, aged 83, died Friday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Fred McIntyre of Prospect Park. She was born 11 November 1830 at North Sandy and married about 1860 to David Runninger. She is survived by a son Clinton, J. E. Runninger of St. Mary's, West Virginia, and daughters Mrs. J. F. Welton, Mrs. Fred Mc­Intyre, and Miss Susie.
