General Notes: Husband - Dr. James Hamilton Ralston


He was reared at Prospect, Butler County, Pennsylvania, and obtained his educational training at Grove City Col­lege and at Mt. Union, Ohio, after which he took a four-years' course at Jefferson Medical College, graduating in 1901. Dr. Ralston first embarked in the practice of his profession at Slate Lick, Armstrong County. In November, 1904, he located at Harmony, where he built up a lucra­tive practice.
Fraternally, Dr. Ralston was a member of the Knights of Pyth­ias, and the K. O. T. M. He was also a member of the American Medical Associa­tion, the Medical Association of Pennsyl­vania and the Butler County Medical As­sociation. He was a Republican in politics, as were all of his ancestors.

Her great-grandfather served two terms as mayor of Cincinnati, Ohio.
