General Notes: Husband - Rev. William Speer

He was a Presbyterian clergyman, who came from Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, to Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, whence he removed to Chillicothe, Ohio.

He was at one time pastor of the Falling Spring Presbyterian Church, Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. He was the ancestor of the Speer family of Pittsburgh.

He was for twenty-nine years connected as pastor of the Greensburg and Unity charges of Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania.
