General Notes: Husband - George Ray


He came to Hope Valley, Rhode Island, in 1848, and was for four years manager of a weaving establishment owned by a man by the name of Darling. In 1852 he hired to Gen. James, of Providence, to superintend a weaving shop in Reading, Pennsylvania. Eight years later he went into a machine shop at the same place. [HMC 1888, 928]
