General Notes: Husband - Charles Maynard Rea


He attended school with more or less regularity until he was eighteen years of age, and thereafter gave the larger part of his time and attention to agricultural pursuits. He was a practical and successful farmer and he also raised a large amount of fine stock. In his political views he was a stanch Republican, and at different times he served in township offices. He was elected vice-president of the Washington County School Directors' Association. They was a members of the Cross Creek Presbyterian Church, in which he was an elder and a trustee for a number of years.
