General Notes: Husband - Joseph Reed


He served in the Continental army during the Revolutionary War.

He brought Rev. Joseph Smith to Cross Creek township, Washington County, Pennsylvania, in 1779. He returned there in 1790 and settled on a farm later owned by John C. Rea. After living there a number of years he removed to a property that later belonged to William J. Patterson, residing upon that until his death. Following this his family removed of to Armstrong County, Pennsylvania, where some of his children lived for many years.
