General Notes: Husband - John D. Norris

Hopewell Twp, Huntingdon Co, PA

It seems likely that John D. Norris (circa 1767-1838) was the son of Joseph Norris, who was born January 11, 1729, died March 18, 1813, and whose wife was Mary Moody Norris. Joseph Norris was a resident of Washington County, near Sharpsburg, Maryland, prior to 1785, about which time he removed to the Raystown Branch of Juniata River in Bedford (now Huntingdon) County, Pennsylvania.
