General Notes: Husband - George Washington Spangler

In 1863 he settled at Jerusalem Corners, Oil Creek Township, Venango County, PA, clearing most of the place himself and erecting a residence thereon in 1873. He was a carpenter as well a farmer, and his services were especially in demand as a barn builder, the reason for which is evident in the appearance of the substantial and workmanlike structures of his erection still in use in this section many years later. He was an ardent member of the United Brethren denomination, and donated a site for the church from his land, as well as a plot for the cemetery. He died at the age of eighty-five years.

General Notes: Wife - Salinda Renninger

She lived to the age of seventy-one.
