General Notes: Husband - James Reynolds

He came to the country lying north of New Castle, PA, about 1806. He was employed in the mill at the "Old Forge," on the Neshannock about two miles north of New Castle, in which Carlisle Stewart, prominent in the founding of New Castle, was interested. The mill was a grist mill and combined with it was a single mill for the manufacture, in a small and very crude way, of bar iron made from pig iron brought from Pittsburg.
He built the first flour mill on the Neshannock, where later East Brook station was located.

General Notes: Wife - Hannah Webster

She was a niece of Judge Way of Wilmington, DE, by whom she was raised.
