LeBoeuf Twp, Erie Co, PA

He owned 225 acres of well-improved land; his wife 13 acres in Crawford County, PA. He followed lumbering 15 years, making frequent trips to Pittsburgh by water. He held many local offices; was for 10 years Justice of the Peace; 6 years Road Commissioner; 4 years School Director; 3 years Constable, and Collector from 1862 to 1864. Politically he was a Republican.
