General Notes: Husband - Charles Edward Walter


He was reared in his native city and attended her best schools. From early youth he was interested in the milling business and beginning about 1899 was a member of the firm of George Walter & Sons. The business conducted by this firm was large and their dealings covered a wide territory.
He and his wife were members of the Lutheran Church of Butler. Fraternally he was connected with the Elks, the Eagles and the Woodmen.
