General Notes: Husband - George Robertson

---

He was the first hotel keeper in Mechanicsburg, Indiana County, Pennsylvania, an early merchant for two years, and constable for several years, and a justice of the peace for three terms. He was also the first justice elected in the borough. He was a horse and cattle drover, teamed between Philadelphia and Blairsville, and erected nearly all the early buildings in the village.
