General Notes: Husband - Smith Fry Scott Scott


He is the fourth in a family of eight children, and received his early education in the schools of Fallowfield and Somerset townships.
He owned a good farm, which contained seventy-five acres, furnished with good buildings, and all modern improvements. He was actively interested in all progressive movements, and filled various local offices. He voted with the Republican party. He and his wife were members of the Beallsville M. E. Church, to which he gave liberal support.
