General Notes: Husband - Rev. Richard W. Thomas

He entered the ministry of the Methodist Episcopal church, Philadelphia conference, and was actively engaged in the duties of his holy calling until death. He also studied medicine, and was graduated M. D. He practiced exclusively for a short time, but soon returned to the ministry; thereafter he only used his medical skill as a valued aid in his work for the church. He was pastor in Philadelphia of the Fifth Street and Nazareth Methodist Episcopal churches, and of a church in Wilmington, Delaware.
