General Notes: Husband - Tobias Ryckman


At the age of seventeen he removed [from Canada?] to Rural Village, Armstrong County, Pennsylvania.
He served as veterinary surgeon in the 2d Pennsylvania cavalry for three years.
In 1868 he removed to Marion, Indiana County, where he served as high constable, justice of the peace, &c. For over thirty-eight years he pursued the calling of a blacksmith.
