General Notes: Husband - Gilbert McCoy

Greenwood Twp, Perry Co, PA

Revolutionary War: he served as private in Captain Bratton's company, of the Seventh Pennsylvania Regiment, which was discharged in April, 1781, at Carlisle, Pennsylvania.

He enlisted with his brother Thomas on 14 February, 1776, as a private in Company F, 6th Battalion of the Pennsylvania Line. His unit was involved in the assault on Canada via Ticonderoga and Lake Champlain.

In 1784, he went to live in his wife's former home known as Martin Mill on the Juniata River in Greenwood Township, present Perry County, Pennsylvania.
