General Notes: Husband - Maj. William Brua Cameron


He received a classical education, and graduated at Princeton College in 1847, studied law with James McCormick, and was admitted to the Dauphin County, Pennsylvania, bar Jan. 23, 1849. He located at Middletown, managing certain business enterprises of his father. He was appointed major and paymaster in the United States army May 1, 1861; retired the 4th of November, 1863, on account of impaired health.

While on a visit to her old home in Canada, she took ill, and died there.
