General Notes: Husband - Daniel Wideman


He was of German birth, coming from Paulse, on the Rhine, and he was educated for the Lutheran ministry, in which his father and several brothers spent their lives. He left Germany to escape conscription, settled in Pennsylvania, and married. They were farming people in Westmoreland County, PA, and always remained in the Lutheran Church.
