In the same ship that brought over Governor Stuyvesant, her brother, from Holland to New Amsterdam in the New World, came also Anna, widow of Samuel Bayard, and her three sons, Petrus, Belthazar, and Nicholas, who are the ancestors of all the American Bayards.
