General Notes: Husband - Jacob Horner

He was a native and resident of one of the eastern counties of Pennsylvania till he had attained his majority. He then migrated to Somerset County, and subsequently removed to Mt. Pleasant township, Westmoreland County, where he was employed in farming till 1844, when he died in the sixty-sixth year of his age. He owned a tract of land which was afterwards divided into three good-sized farms. He was a member of the German Baptist church and an old-line whig.
He and his wife had six sons and four daughters.

He and his wife came from Somerset, Pennsylvania, and settled on a fine farm in Mount Pleasant township, Westmoreland County, about one mile from Mount Pleasant. They were members of the Dunker church.
