General Notes: Husband - James H. Bean


A pioneer of Mercer County, PA, he left Westmoreland County and located about four miles south of the present site of Greenville, and from that time until his death was engaged in farming there. He went to the defense of Erie in the war of 1812, and was a ruling elder in the Presbyterian Church.
