General Notes: Husband - Benjamin F. Stebbins


Civil War: He was a soldier in the Sixteenth Regiment Pennsylvania Volunteer Cavalry. He was wounded in the right arm at Sheperdstown, West Virginia, and lost his left leg at Hatcher's Run, Virginia. He was County Treasurer one term. At the time of his death he was a member of the Oil City Oil Exchange.
He died by drowning.
