General Notes: Husband - Isaac Sumny


While a youth he made settlement in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, and five years later, about 1800, moved to Nottingham township, Washington County, where he owned and cultivated land. He was a communicant of the Lutheran Church.

He was born in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania. He followed the trade of potter all his life. He and his wife had nine children, of whom three sons were still living in 1893. [CBRWC, 930]
