He enlisted in June, 1941, as an officer in the 82nd Airborne Division; jumped in Sicily, Salerno, Normandy, and Holland; after the Battle of the Bulge transferred to Gen. Ridgeway's staff. He was wounded four times.
He graduated from Cornell in 1947 and rejoined Ridgeway's staff in 1949 and was wounded again in Korea. He retired from TRW in 1986.
