General Notes: Husband - Thomas Thayer

He was a shoemaker. He was the progenitor of a numerous offspring, by some said to be a distinct race from Richard, but it is not positively known as to the facts. Both families settled in the same town, Braintree, Massachusetts, about the same time; and as intermarriage took place, it would make them relatives. He brought with him from England his wife and three sons. Will recorded, 13th of September, 1665. Good Puritan.
