General Notes: Husband - George B. Fasenmyer

He was educated in the common schools of his home township. At the age of seventeen years he left his farm home and went to Bradford, McKean County, Pennsylvania, and secured employment as a pumper for J. M. Stevenson and Louis Hampshire. Later on he became manager of their oil and gas lease. During that time he began operating as partner with companies in Crawford and Clarion counties. At the end of ten years he resigned and located at Venus, Clarion County, where he took charge of one of the leases, remaining nine years. He then moved to Leeper, Farmington township, Clarion County, and took charge of another lease. Following this he had many extensive dealings in oil and gas production, which were very successful, drilling and operating continuously. He was the owner of real estate in Farmington and Washington townships, having eighteen acres of land in Leeper, whereon he resided. He and his family were members of the Catholic church, and he was a Democrat in politics.
