General Notes: Husband - Augustus Alexander Trask


Civil War: he enlisted in April, 1861, as sergeant in Co. D. 42nd Reg. Pa. Volunteers ("The Black-tails"). He was in the battles at Drainsville, Harrisonberg, Cross Keys, Mechanicsville and Gains Mills, where he was taken prisoner. He was exchanged, and later was in the battles of Glendale, Catletts Station, Manassas, and at South Mountain where he was killed.
