General Notes: Husband - Benjamine H. Turner


Working on the farm was not congenial employment for him, so he left home when about seventeen years old and worked two or three years in or about the Filer coal mine. He then engaged as a brakeman on the railroad. After he had been there about a year, he met his death in the following manner: He was engaged coupling cars and signalled the engineer to go ahead when from some cause he lost his balance and fell across the track and was run over by the train, and instantly killed.
